So: if you get sick or run over by a car tomorrow and you become handicapped and in need of expensive health care procedures for the rest of your life while unable to work, then what? Are you just going to starve at home without medical treatment because you don’t want to depend on a system?

Listen buddy:

- A. You are privileged and lucky. The fact that you found a job and stayed healthy is part achievement, part privilege and part luck. 

- B. Not everyone is privileged and lucky. Not everyone who works as hard as you did ends up being able to support themselves, it’s not that simple. 

- C. If you think you have 100% control over whether you will be able to provide for yourself in the future, you are fooling yourself. If you think you don’t need a system to catch you in case you do become in need or care, you are an idiot.
